On Saturday, August 12, 2023, Steel Valley Woofstock 6 rocked the valley with a fun-filled evening of peace, love, paws, and music. This year’s event will be at Tiffany Banquet Hall in Brookfield, Ohio. Doors open at 5 PM to support animal causes in the valley via Steel Valley Woofstock a 501c3 nonprofit. This is a funky fundraiser for the fur babies!
In 2022, The Labra Brothers brought their funky groove to Woofstock. Recipients of "Best Latin Artist" by the Cleveland Music Awards, they were on Fire, (which is one of their hit songs!) The Steel Valley All-Star Band took the stage led by Rajma and featuring Dennis Drummond, a Season 13 contestant on The Voice. It was absolutely pure magic on stage as they performed originals and hits like Stevie Ray Vaughn’s Pride and Joy.
Steel Valley Woofstock was pleased to present The Steel Valley All-Star Band again this year! An awesome collaboration of cherry-picked local musical talent headed up by one of the best rock guitarists in the Valley, Rajma. Dennis Drummond joined Rajma and The All-Stars on stage with surprise guest Hoss Jarmen! We also welcomed the up-and-coming band The Goners! The Goners performed both original music and tunes from Maroon 5, Lenny Kravitz, and more.
It was the sixth year for the music festival and featured a basket raffle with baskets valued at over $100 and more. Last year, Woofstock had over $10,000 in baskets including one worth $1000 in retail value of dog toys, treats, and more. This year’s Rock and Roll Memorabilia Silent Auction included autographed guitars from Alice Cooper, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and David Grohl. Other items included a signed Star Trek shirt from William Shatner, a Journey signed drumhead, a special edition poster of Live Aid and Woodstock and so much more!
Tickets included admission, dinner & dessert, non-alcoholic beverages (cash bar for alcoholic beverages), entry into the progressive prize drawing featuring gift cards from local businesses, and live entertainment.
