Philanthropy
Steel Valley Woofstock is renowned for its philanthropic programs aimed at enhancing the welfare of both animals and the community. Our services include providing medications, vaccinations, medical testing, physical exams, and necessary spaying/neutering to control the pet population. Additionally, we run educational programs for Youngstown State University and the community to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. To support local animal shelters in need, Steel Valley Woofstock has offered pet food and pet supplies. These efforts are bolstered by community events like their annual Steel Valley Woofstock festival, which raises funds and awareness for their cause while fostering a strong sense of community engagement and support.

Steel Valley Woofstock Mission Statement
Our mission is simple, spay neuter is the answer, warehousing animals is not. We help pets through spay-neuter programs, community crisis programs, humane crisis outreach, pet food banks, and education plus support military and police dogs. We focus on smaller-scale rescues without facilities yet with effective community programs. Our focus is the local community in Trumbull, Mahoning, and Mercer County
