Mahoning County Dog Pound

Steel Valley Woofstock and their service partner have offered the Mahoning County Dog Pound 12 spay or neuters for pound dogs in hopes of making them more adoptable for the pound.

Last year we did this for them as well. We spayed or neutered 12 dogs plus gave them a wellness package.

Each dog gets a physical exam, heartworm tested, vaccinated, pain injection, a short-acting antibiotic, e-coller, an injection of ProHeart 6 heartworm prevention plus their spay-neuter surgery.

We hope to be able to continue this project and expand it in the future.
